Q: Hi, this makeup stool can be raised and lowered, will it lower slowly after sitting on it?

I haven't come across this yet, it's able to be fixed at a height.My husband is 285 pounds and he sits on it with no change in height, hope this works for you

If it is the black cap just pull it off it’s a little hard but it will come off
