The Three Little Pigs: Ladybird First Favourite Tales

Lovely book with nice illustrations. The story is told in a different way than I remember as a child but maybe that's just my bad memory! My little boy still loves it!

After having read this book to my son a couple of times he obviosuly really enjoyed it as out of the blue he'd just start telling his own version of the story so it definately made an impression.Good comunication with the seller. Just one slight little hiccup with the delivery- I had ordered two books at the same time but for some reason they were sent seperately about a week apart so obviously I thought the other one wasn't coming but after having contacted the seller it arrived withtin a couple of days. Good quality books, nice illustrations.

My little boy and I love this story, he asks for it every night, we even have finger puppets to go with it. I do change the ending of what happens to the pigs as my little one is only 2 and I think that the wolf eating the pigs might be a bit too much for him at the moment. Lovely adaptation and fun pictures as well, make this an enjoyable read.

Bought this Ladybird book for my 2 and 3 yr old greatgrandsons, to accompany the 3 little pigs cushion that I made for them. I so love Ladybird books and have bought them for over 50 years.

A beautiful book to read to my grandson as I did to my son.

The story has changed from my day but the world, has gone all PC now......Still a good story. Well printed and easy for Little ones to follow while you read and teach them to read..

What a brilliant book. I was on the hunt for a set of books that told traditional stories like this one, for my daughter. The books are a perfect size for small hands and not heavy at all. I would highly recommend.

Not the same as I remember reading to my sons 40 years ago. The wolf gets the first two whereas the orginal story they run to the 3 rd pig and live happy ever after. Much better for small children I think. There’s less rhythm to it to

This modernized version of the three little pigs would be great if the wolf didn't eat the pigs! If you are going to retell the story and add and omit various parts, why not remove the violence? Not to mention the pigs are siblings. Shouldn't they help each other? And need the wolf be boiled to death? Hmm...Pity. Very cute pictures.
