Was sceptical about this, but it worked really well. Make sure you use a sharp knife and should do the trick. I used to level off a ‘number’ cake- 4 and 0. Managed to level cleanly and easily. Good value and works.

I used these and the first time I did, they worked really well. That was on an 8" cake. On the 10" cake I had to keep checking that each of the devices was still on the counter top. They have a tendency to lift slightly with a bigger cake and long knife. I still think it made a much easier job of getting the cake levels right and that was especially important for my daughter's wedding cake.

Clear instructions were very helpful. They sat nicely on the knife and helped keep levels on slices. One drawback, sometimes they twist and almost come off. Would definitely recommend they be bought for slicing items horizontally.

This is a great item for cutting cakes with accuracy. Well worth getting if your into making lots of cakes. Fast delivery and value for money

Cheap product, springs snapped after 4 uses.. complete waste of money, even though it is cheap, the quality makes it worth 50p not £6.99

As previous reviewers have stated you need a long knife to use these for large cakes. I did used it to cut small individual cakes with a standard knife and it worked well. Just make sure it stays on the work top when cutting. Love the fact that it is small and comes in its own box. Haven't the room to store the round cake cutters.

Don't let the size of these guys fool you! They work with any serrated knife and produce fantastic results, Nice level cake layers!! So easy to use too. Results are much better than some of the other options out there with less hassle.
