I already have a lot of Dior books - this one is more a gathering of all the others. But still beautiful pictures.

It wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting one of those very grand or at least an impressive coffee book. This book is anything but grand or impressive. It is just an ordinary calico blinded book..no different from the encyclopaedia I saw in libraries. The front cover has that photograph glued in it, to be expected with this kind of binding I supposed. BUT the silver stamp print is a hit and miss, and is not very clean- some alphabets is missing its silver. I suppose if this was a free door gift For some events, it would have passed as an ok free gift. The contents is not much to shout about too..i get more from flicking thru Vogue magazine.

not really worth the money in my opinion , as a coffee table book it requires more photographs from the iconic eras , dont waste your money

Ein wirklich sehr schönes Buch, welches man gerne in der Sammlung haben möchte. Aber auch der Inhalt kann überzeugen. Sehr schöne Bilder und tolle Aufmachung!

I like this book because it's not photos only but also quite interesting reading about Christian Dior. Pictures are great, font is easy to read, it covers decades of house. Great gift for fashion lovers!

Beautiful, tastefully done and a nice size. The earlier photos show an age of elegance. It is portable, in contrast to many of the new fashion books which are huge and weigh a ton. Because of the navy cover, a man would probably not mind having it around (i.e. it is not too feminine or frilly). This book would make a lovely gift. Consider it as a birthday gift or house present.

DIOR WAS DESIGNING JUST AS A GROUP OF PHOTOGRAPHERS WERE CHANGING FASHION PHOTOGRAPHS IN MORE NATURAL SETTINGS AND TO SHOW MOVEMENT AND DIOR WAS AT THE FOR FRONT HIRING THESE PHOTOGRAPHERS ! IT IS A WONDERFUL BOOK FOR MANY REASONS.
