I love these!!! I've bought other Leca Balls that were brown, rugged and ugly. These are beautiful and are the perfect addition to any plant. I like to place them over the soil to keep gnats away and is a good barrier to keeping my plants moist. Highly recommend.

There are a few varieties of these on the market that I have tried.The Leca Balls are the only ones I have found that Do Not float!I can easily and quickly put them in water to soak for a few minutes without having to replant each time.Great product.

I loved the rainbow colors and they seem the be of good quality. They are, however, a bit smaller than I realized as is the size of the bag. Still, worth it!

These balls are the perfect size for my 5" orchid pot. I washed them, as I do most products, and there was zero dust or debris. I like that the company offers smaller quantities at a reasonable price and different color optionsVery happy with this purchase.

These are very cute to look at and a good idea in theory (colored LECA, I mean) but these in particular continue to leak their color out for weeks until completely leached of all color in the first place which is very disappointing. If using for semi-hydro, the water will turn pink or red for sure.

I mix these in with my bark potting medium for an extra airy mix for the orchids. They seem happy :)

The listing clearly shows a grayish blue, a pinkish purple & white. I received brown, dark red & white. These are also not porous like leca should be. They do not retain or hold any water to wick up moisture for hydro growth. With Leca you only need to fill 1/3 of the height of the balls with water, with these you have to cover them entirely which defeats the purpose of using leca to prevent root rot. They dry completely within minutes even after being soaked for 48 hours. They do not have the feel or texture of leca/clay balls, they are basically just small round rocks. I would not recommend these if you are planning to use as a medium at all. These are a waste for me.
