D-string de threaded at both ends
Hope these strings are ok. The D-string has de-threaded at both ends. 41 years of playing the Bass and this is the first time it's very happened.

Disappointed
The description says 45-100 but also then says 45-105….I think 105 is probably the case.My set came incorrectly packaged which led to me trimming the A (packaged as the E) shorter than ideal. I’ve no idea what’s happening with the D either, but like another reviewer experienced, it doesn’t seem to be the correct wind for this set. It’s a shame because they actually sound and feel decent enough. I’ll be sticking to more established brands now though.

OK but D is a rogue.
Came on time but was a 5 string short scale set with the E string at 105 not 100 as advertised. However, I cut and fitted them and the D is a bit of a rogue with the silk winding on the headstock end a long way from the nut, plus slightly longer silk at the bridge, was this a long scale string? See photos. However, they sound very good so far.

Good sounding, budget strings. My first ever set of flatwounds.
Firstly, I like the strings, they are flatwound and they sound the real deal. They're for a shortscale bass. I have a Hofner Ignition Violin bass, which is a shortscale. While the strings fit comfortably, the string wound ends slightly too early, resulting in the material at the end of the strings going over the first fret of the bass. If you can live with this, then I'd recommend them.

Decent for the price
Quality flatwound strings are really expensive, and these prove you get what you pay for. That said, I'd you want to try flats to see if they're for you, this is a good place to start. They feel good, but I slapped these on a USA Fender Jazz bass and they sounded....like £15 flatwound bass strings.

I have always liked the sound and feel of flat wound strings
I bought these strings for an 'Ibanez Mikro' short scale bass. I have always liked the sound and feel of flat wound strings, but I was a little worried whether these would fit the Mikro, as it is only 28.1/2". I need not have worried they where perfect, and sound fantastic. Unfortunately I think they may be end of line, as I can't find them listed anywhere else, including the supplier's website.
