poor build quialty, gave me a shock a few times using wet and difficult to use.
Unboxing i noticed the blade hit the groove in the base plate when rotated. It also has zero control on water pump and floods wherever you are working (even tried crimping the water tube) and the switch shocked me as soon as i used it with water. There's a lot wrong with it.

Does the job but the product is huge with lots of moving parts, a little overkill to be honest
I wanted to chase some cables through my brick-wall and plaster-board, the description online looked decent so I ordered it.As I received the item the next day, I was shocked to see a massive box (over half a meter width), I wasn't sure if this is what I ordered, so unboxed and had a look,... to my surprise it was the item however but way too bulky, it was massive, I placed some photos with my hand to show the item size comparing to my hand, it's the size of a jug and is quote heavy. The item comes in with the grinder itself (the huge item) plus a water-pump to splash water (if needed) onto whatever being cut to ensure smoothness...Build quality:1) For the grinder (the bulky cutter): it was quite strong and rigid, also the disk included can be used straight away into masonry, the item is not battery powered and all electric, cable size is ok (could've been a little longer)2) For the water-pump, that was a little let-down for me at least, quite small, needs to go into a bucket and would require its own power too, it comes in with:3) Flexi Hoses: good length (about 3m included), didn't measure exactly how long, is my guess. As an overall product unfortunately, it didn't work well for me mainly because of the following reasons:A) This product is extremely heavy for what I am used to, making it quite hard for me to manoeuvre or lift up for jobs.B) Once all connected, I ended up with a little risky situation of having the water pipes squirting into the motor and all hoses were a little untidy to manage, the risk for me was:C) Any bad movement can cause the hose to snap and squirt water into the motor and risk of an electric shock.D) The motor was a little small and felt a little cheap in quality, if this is meant to be used on the field then the filter wouldn't survive with a mucky water as it usually is the case.I honestly wish this product had the water pump built-in with a little special tank like other bulky ones to save on 2 x power cords and 2 x connections going into it (Electric + Water Pumped), finally for what it does, it could've been a little smaller or less heavier than what it is now.Overall, the item works and does the job however, it's a little way too bulky and heavy for what I am used to unfortunately.

Good value
I haven't actually been able to cut a channel with this yet, but I did give it a try on some brick held in the bench vice, and this thing cuts it like butter. You get everything you need in the kit - although the "safety glasses" were awful, and went in the bin. It looks and feels like a clone of a more famous brand, but certainly isn't the same quality. It's what you'd expect for the price, but at the price it is, it's fine; it will do what I want it to, and probably rarely be called into service again. The blades are effective, and being able to reduce the width of cut be removing blades is a good thing. The motor sounds OK when running, but it's clearly not a refined motor; it's a motor at a price point. Will it give a long service life? I doubt it. But I suspect it will give a long enough service life to justify the cost. Overall, it's an impressive tool for the cost, just don't expect it to perform or last like its similarly coloured competitor. But you don't use them for precision work, so it'll be fine.

“Ergonomic and a complete set!”
This is decent quality tool, seems sturdy and ergonomic. I expect it to be heavy but this is not that bad at all. Comes with loads of extra and safety gears. Using is straight forward and a good design. The hard case is so handy as well for storage and it is safe. The pricing for this one is unfortunately high, it is expensive for me.

Poor Ergonomics for a Wall Chaser and Questionable Safety
The media could not be loaded. First impressions are that the machine is made from good materials and indeed a very good carry case is included. The instruction manual is well illustrated and the text a good size for reading. Brushed motor and there is access to the brushes, but no spare brushes supplied. However, the design of this machine is far from great in terms of cutting vertical channels in walls, which is the most common requirement for routing cables. The chaser looks like a paving/concrete floor cutting machine design that has been adapted, see my video.Regarding the ergonomics, the machine is approximately 60cm long and weighs 7Kg. The Supplier requires that the machine must be moved from top downwards when cutting vertical channels and pumping water to suppress the dust. You cannot easily hold the machine to do that, but the main issue from a cutting point of view is that at least the first 60cm+ (60cm = the machine length, plus your clenched hand and elbow room) of the channel won't be cut - that's more than half the typical length of a channel to a light switch (100 - 110cm), completely negating the advantage of using water.Of great concern though is that the machine must face downwards to prevent the water from getting into the electric motor. The machine design should ensure that water cannot reach the motor. Again the ergonomics are questionable as the electric water pump has to be submerged in a bowl/bucket and it's plastic pipe attached to the machine. That's in addition to the power cable to the machine, making an ungainly and awkward assembly that, to use a popular English expression, is "asking for trouble".What if we ditched the water pump set-up and just used a vacuum connection? Well, ignoring the fact that tradespeople are using water because vacuums do not necessarily remove enough dust, on this machine the vacuum connection is on the part of the blade guard that slides open - you could easily inadvertently pull the guard open mid-channel with the vacuum tube. It's probably bad form to criticise the added extras, but the instruction manual tells you to wear rubber gloves, yet cotton gloves are supplied. You certainly should wear industrial goggles to protect your eyes but sunglasses are supplied (I nicked my ear with the sunglasses because the plastic ends had not been de-burred properly). An apron is also supplied but is completely inappropriate for chasing.Unfortunately, I found the machine's handle was loose (no way for me to fix it) - that doesn't suggest good quality assurance on machines that should be thoroughly inspected. In summary, this machine is not as good, or as safe, as the one I have owned for 20 years, but of course it should be better in every way.Video: On a PC, left mouse click the maximise symbol, bottom right corner, to view the video full-screen.
