I was super excited to open these once my package arrived...and then I became super disappointed. I bought these to package my meal preps for class. I planned on carrying them in my backpack or bike and needed them to be flexible and spill proof. I checked all containers and lids to make sure they were flexible and 8/10 lids and containers survived. One container literally snapped in half when I slightly bent it, and another cracked on the sides. As for the lids, when I checked for flexibility 2 lids cracked on the sides. I was OKAY with the fact that only 2 out of 10 were damaged, so I was going to just leave it. Although, when I went to check if they were spill proof...they weren't. The lids didn't fit well and there was little gaps where liquids would spill. I'm writing just to share my experience with these containers. I probably just got a really bad set and I will sadly be returning them.**** Update ********The company reached out to me and Venus offered to send out a new set to make up for the troubles. The new set arrive pretty quickly and this time, none of the containers/lids cracked when I tested for flexibility! So I was very excited to see that this set was already better on that aspect. As for the lids, they still are not sealing as nicely as I would like. Some areas of the container seal tightly, others do not. Although I am going to give them a try and see how they handle liquids. I really appreciate the customer service and speediness of Venus in order to make sure I was satisfied, it really showed they cared and value their products and really want their customers to enjoy what they purchase.

I very much enjoy using these meal prep containers for portable meals and snacks for my family! We spend a lot of time in the car so I prepare the meal (ie breakfast sandwich, fruit, or veg like edename, and yogurt), stack up the containers and bring them in the car. My kids are accustomed to eating breakfast or post school snack in the car and it is a great convenience! The food doesn't get mixed up or leak if it's accidentally dropped. When they are finished, we stack up the trays compactly and bring them home to wash. Easy! I think visual presentation is very important for food, especially for kids. If I pack the same exact foods in plastic bags vs cutting it up into bite size pieces and placing it into the different containers, it is aesthetically pleasing and gets eaten more! That doesn't surprise me, who doesn't like to eat food that looks beautiful instead of food smushed into leaky bags?: ) The little condiment containers are perfect size! I like the 10 pack so you can have extras if some are being washed.The reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would like to see the containers have more turgor. The containers work great for most foods, but heavier or liquidy foods may need more support. The manufacturers are aware and always looking to improve their great product.

I purchased these because of the increased “flexibility” which wasn’t really the case since it snapped immediately with a slight bend to test it (see photo). I also couldn’t get any of the lids to seal completely to the bottoms. I have to stand this upright to fit in my lunchbox and I’m worried all of the contents will spill out of the side since they are really easy to pop open. I plan on trying to return them since they don’t really suit my needs.Sauce cups are a nice touch though so I gave it an extra star.Update: after this review, the company reached out to me and offered to send me a new set for free without returning the first. They assured me I must have purchased a bad set. Although I didn’t accept the new set, they let me keep my set and gave me a refund (I had already bought new ones elsewhere instead). I increased from 2 stars to 4 stars because of their great customer service.

This is the second time I've bought these. NOT because they broke but because my mom stole most of them from me because she loved them so much. I have used my first set for over a year and none of them have broken. I tried another set that was smaller from a different company but the lids and containers broke after 2 washes in the dishwasher. These containers have not broken or warped after a year of dishwasher cleaning. They are not 100% leak proof but I just toss them into a reuseable large ziplock and all is well. The only thing I would want to change would be if they could be a teeny tiny smaller otherwise they are perfecto as is.

I've had these containers for about 2 months now. I love them. I am a little disappointed that I found one of my lids had cracked already though. It's a small crack, and I will probably continue using it anyway, but still. They barely fit in the top rack of my dishwasher, so that's probably how it cracked. Overall, though I really like them. And I've gotten a ton of questions and compliments from my co-workers!

These are pretty darn amazing! Had my first batch for over a year before the kids started cracking, but they were used a LOT! If you want to use for storage in the freezer, I suggest putting a layer of saran wrap between the base and the lid or your food will freeze burn. Main reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the lids do not stack inside the containers for easy storage.

I prepare meals for an elderly friend. These are perfect for a meat & two side dishes. I prepare a week's worth of meals, place in containers, label them (blue tape works great, easy to write on with a marker, & stays put even in the freezer, easy to remove before cleaning. I freeze the meals so my friend only has to reheat in microwave. He removes the tape & rinses the containers. When I bring them home I wash in top rack of dishwasher. Containers are holding their shape & show no signs of cracking. The size is perfect for a nice meal. These containers are slightly larger than many I looked at. Very pleased & will order more.
