Nartel - IP44 Ceiling Bathroom Light

I am thrilled with this light fitting. It is very simple but effective in my very small bathroom. It gives off plenty of light and it complements my new bathroom beautifully. It's just a nice size and light in weight which is something we had to think about as my ceiling is wooden cladding so we couldn't have anything to heavy. Most lights that we seen were to big or heavy but this is just perfect for what we wanted. The price we paid was a bargain compared to going into a lighting centre, for one that looked exactly the same in a shop I went into was more than three times the price.

This light fitting looks great, better quality than expected for the price. The glass shades simply push fit into some spring prongs to retain in place. Takes long LED g9 bulbs with no issues.However, I have deduced a mark as installation is a real pain. The usual three wire terminal block is enclosed inside a cumbersome insulated plastic box with four tiny screws that hold the lid in place. The box has a grommet with three tiny holes that the wires have to be fed into and then connected to the terminal block inside. Far too fiddly, especially when installing at ceiling height. Put me off buying another to be honest.I appreciate all this has been done for the IP rating, but a better design is required for the connections. Also, too much (beautifully insulated) excess wire on the inside.

I used some warm white 7w G9 LED bulbs in this light which emit more light and use far less electricity than the Halogen bulbs. The unit itself is easy to wire up, and the wires are sealed in a small enclosed with silicon seal to prevent any moisture which would be in a bathroom entering the wiring area of the fixture. The shares are frosted and made of glass and simply slide over the bulb. The frosted shades then diffuse the light evenly and mean your not get glare. Great value.

Like design, and size is good for our bathroom. Can’t comment on light quality yet. First one arrived with broken shade. Second one arrived and chrome was poor in a couple of places. Ordered third if this one is faulted think we may give up.

Gives plenty of light for a small bathroom, (personally I don't like spots lights which seem to be used everywhere and was looking for an alternative.) Looks great.

Nice looking light. Well packed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the shades to fit on and didn’t want to force it as they’re glass and feel relatively delicate. I therefore returned this light which was easy to do.

We got this for our bathroom, as the light fitting we inherited with the flat was really dark and dingey. I bought 3.5W LED bulbs for it, and it is so bright, we are going to have to redecorate! Seriously though, it is good to be able to see in the batrhoom, finally.They are quite elegent fittings, and look easy to keep clean. Even with LED bulbs in, the light is continuous, and not in defined "spots".

I ordered 2 of these and only one came with the bulbs. I have had to now buy some which have cost an additional £7.The items should have BOTH included bulbs !
