Good product, but short for a long dog
I bought the XL for my 55lb greyhound. This is a nice compromise between a rigid plastic cone and a soft pillowy one. I went with this one after my dog figured out how to get around the softer one from Alfie Dog, but I still wanted something that would allow her to sleep comfortably and which would not dig painfully into her neck. My initial concern is that it’s shorter than I would have liked by a few inches. It’s tough to find a cone that’s sized appropriately for a dog with a long narrow neck and a long nose. It would be nice if there were different length options for differently shaped dogs. A dog with a thin neck and long head needs a different shape than a dog with a thicker neck and flat face, even if they have the same neck diameter. My dog’s nose did peek out the front of the cone, even when it was pulled up to right behind her ears.The calming patch was wayyy too strong, and I had to remove it. If the aroma is overpoweringly strong to a human, imagine how intense that would be to a dog, who has no way of getting away from the smell.I appreciate the color-coded Velcro strips on the inside, which helped me to put it on more quickly by reminding me where I Iiked it adjusted.

Recommend this to cone to everyone
My black lab had ACL repair and lived in this cone for 2 weeks. Can’t say enough about the quality. Easy to put on. She was much more comfortable with this than the vets cone. It didn’t get stuck on her kennel and it has a flap you can open for eating and drinking.

Dracula from the 80's
my cat kept turning it around...but on the plus side he looked like Dracula when it was right...I just wish the inside was red...it would have been hilarious...also...he got the Velcro stuck to the rug trying to get it off...needless to say it provided endless entertainment...and he was a salty little pussy cat the whole time

Way to small size chart wrong
For everyone interested in size if you have a small to medium sized dog get the large I have a 120lbs German Shepherd the pictures show it on a Great Dane etc. it does not fit at all not even close, I fact it’s so small I tried putting it on my 75lbs pittbull mix and was still to small. All in all if your dog is 50lbs the large will world fine anything over 50lbs don’t bother.

Kept my dog away from a cut he kept licking and making worse. Even better, unlike other collars, it lasted the whole time we needed it so we can reuse it. Other collars ended up broken and covered with duct tape within a couple days. It also seemed to be more comfortable than other collars.If you need a collar, this one is the best.

Great purchase and I think my dog would agree!
Love this collar. My dog had ear surgery and needed a cone for almost 3 weeks so I knew the huge, hard plastic one she came home with would not cut it for that duration and she was miserable in it. She was much more comfortable in this one and could sleep much easier. And I felt better knowing she was less stressed. I actually ended up purchasing two so I could wash one while she wore the other. They washed easily. Velcro is strong and her collar fit through the loops with no problem. My vet commented about “how cool” this cone was at each recheck appointment. Highly recommend if a cone is needed for any length of time or for recurring issues.

This cone of shame is a great improvement over the hard plastic ones
This product is very easy to put on your dog even if your dog is hyper and never still as mine is. I am able to quickly get the collar on her with no problem. It works well and she tolerates it well with no escape shenanigans at all.

Allows dog to go in and out doggie door
Allows dogs to sleep comfortably and go in and out the doggie door. My boxer had 2 cysts removed and vet said he had to have a cone on for 3 weeks. The plastic one they sent him home with couldn’t get through the doggie door and my husband and I couldn’t take that much time off work. A coworker suggested this cone since she had the same doggie door issue and worked perfectly!

No recomiendo para perros grandes
No evita que el perro tenga acceso a sus patas, esta demasiado suave por lo que mi perro pudo doblarlo y lamerse el medicamento de las patas. Se ensucia demasiado rápido al ser de tela por dentro y el aromatizante de la cápsula es súper intenso para un perro.No lo recomiendo para perros grandes en absoluto.
