RevitalAir Compact True HEPA 4-in-1 Air Purifier, White

First of all, I have to state that I always do tons of research before I buy a product. After looking at 5 Youtube videos, and browsing through countless air purifiers, I decided to settle down on this RevitalAir True HEPA 4-in-1 Air Purifier, and I absolutely LOVE it! For the price point and how good-looking, and functional it is, it cannot be beaten.I bought this since I live in an old apartment with a smell in which I can't get rid of. After leaving this unit on in my bedroom for an hour on level 3, I immediately noticed a difference...the air smelled FRESH!! Not to mention how easy it was to place the filter--it's basically a cone. Just unwrap the plastic before using it, and put it back-voila! It's ready! (One-second assembly)One downside I would say is that it's pretty loud when you turn it on the level 3, but that isn't an issue since I just close my bedroom door and I don't hear it in the living room. Just let it do work until I get in and turn it on to level 2 or 1. Level 2 is basically white noise, and at level 1 you literally can't hear anything.Now I basically leave it on every day before I got to sleep--oh, and it's sleep-friendly since there is a sleeping mode which turns ALL the lights off! This is a big plus for people who cannot sleep with any blue lights on. So if you're like me looking to getting your first air purifier, I would recommend starting with this RevitaAir Unit, it is everything you need!

My room is 112 square feet (approx 10ft by 11 ft with some strange extra shapes)I'm not quite sure mine is working. There doesnt seem to be any difference in air quality even after leaving it running in an average sized bedroom with the door shut (to control results) for 24 hours. I'm not sure if its just not powerful enough or if this particular unit is defective. I plan to update my review regarding any future changes, but for now it just blows air and emits blue light.UPDATE: I've had it for several months (maybe a year?) and it doesn't do anything. I've had a chance to leave it running for 3-5 days undisturbed (with the ceiling fan on to make sure all the air can circulate to the filter) and it makes no difference in the air quality. My method of testing air quality isn't exactly scientific, but one would think that an average bedroom (average cleanliness of sheets, some dirty laundry, small dog owner so I sleep with the door shut) would smell at least a little better after the air is filtered. I covered the lights with paint because my room is normally completely blacked out at night, but those lights are enough to be able to see around the room.

I absolutely love this purifier! I just moved into a basement apartment, and it is in an old brick house that was built in the 50's. The house is clean and well taken care of, however with any older basement it can smell a bit musty. Also, being in the middle of winter with snow and rain, and cold temperatures, the air has a musty mildew kind of smell to it. I don't suffer from allergies, but I also wanted to make sure I wasn't breathing in anything that might be irritating.Upon receiving the purifier, I opened up the bottom and removed the plastic lining that is around the filter. After that, it was simply a matter of plugging it in and turning it on. I set it to the second highest setting and went out to dinner. When I came back home there was a huge difference in how the air smelled in my bedroom! When I opened my door, I could immediately tell that it was cleaner and more fresh. My room is 15X15, and this has no issues purifying the whole area. My room mate came in a few days later and opened my door, and now he is going to buy one as well. I honestly didn't think it would be something I would physically noticed, but the difference between the air in my room and the air just outside is very noticeable.The only bummer is that the blue light is always on with the higher fan modes. I wouldn't mind running it on the 1st or 2nd speed while I was sleeping, but the light is very bright. I suppose you could tape over it if you would like, but its a bit annoying. That being said, there is a very quite sleep mode that has no lights, and you can barely tell that the unit is on. I love that you can set a timer for how long you want the fan to run (2, 4, and 8 hours) and that there are multiple levels of fan to choose from (1-3) Level 1 is relatively quiet, and I can have it on in the room without much distraction. Level three on the other hand is extremely loud, and you can definitely feel the air being pushed out. I will occasionally throw on a 4-8 hour timer with a level three fan when i go to work, and when I get home the air is fresh and clean.All in all, an incredible purchase. If I had a ton of rooms I would buy more of these, and as it is my room mate will be buying one for himself. You won't be disappointed!

I’m a teacher and couldn’t shake a nagging cough and sneezing while in my classroom. I was fine on the weekends at home, but upon return to my classroom the sneezing and coughing would return.I bought this in hopes of relief and it is definitely a lifesaver!!!! I feel 100 times better and impressed with the sleep mode and how powerful the unit can be.

I started looking for an air purifier because i was waking congested every morning. I plugged it in a few hours before bed. I didn’t notice any immediate difference until the next morning. My sinuses were not clogged but i was still a lil “mucusy “ the next morning better. The blue light could be annoying to some but as i sleep with tv on it doesn’t phase me, i did turn the light away from the bed however. Also i spent about an hour looking and comparing. Best price for all 4 filters for the square footage.
