Yes, the camera does allow for digital zoom in video shooting mode. The digital zoom has 4 options; Select Off, 1.5x, 2.0x, or 3.0x.

Q: Can you change the orientation of the video/images and is there any image stabilization?

Yes, you can record/take still images in either landscape or portrait mode. There is also video digital image stabilization available. It cannot be combined with the digital zoom, using video digital image stabilization results in cropped videos.

Q: Can I view the images taken on the V10 on my smartphone?

Yes, the Camera Connect App allows remote shooting and viewing of images in the camera, as well as live streaming.

Q: Is there a limit to the video record time?

Yes, in 4k/30fps mode, there is a limit due to the thermal temperature rise, but Full HD shooting has no thermal limit and can shoot longer.

Q: What's included in the box?

1- PowerShot V10, 1- wrist strap, 1- male to male USB-C cable. Micro SD card and power brick NOT included. The memory cards that are compatible are MicroSD, MicroSDHC, and MicroSDXC. (Compatible with UHS-I)
