I read reviews so washed cover in plenty of fabric softener before use, material is a bit hard at first. Regarding glowing in the dark, this quilt cover definitely glows in the dark. Saturns rings and the stars glow brightly in a dark room. My 9 year old son absolutely loves this bedding, it goes great with his space themed bedroom. I'd definitely buy another one if they has it in a different design.

My Niece loves this, she wants a space inspired room so purchased this as a starter for her, I cannot comment on the glow in the dark part as she refuses to turn her light off at night and my brother hasn't really bothered to check it. I don't think it matters to her anyway, she just loves the picture and is now planning her room layout to continue with the space theme. If she's happy then I'm happy

I love the design and it looks good on bed. Little boy v. disappointed there's now glow up though. Have bought glow fabric paint to do the bigger stars and hopefully get what is shown on images. We've tried several days with lots of daylight and artificial, but not even a tiny glow.

Doesn't feel very soft - even after washing it a few times and as other reviewers have said, it doesn't really glow in the dark. That said, it is one of my son's favourite duvet sets and does match his space room really well.

Lovely duvet set for my space-obsessed son. The material is a little rougher than I would like but he doesn't mind. The glow in the dark feature is a little gimmiky, as the room has to be pitch dark to see it (very few kids I know sleep in pitch dark) but we will turn out all the lights every now and again to see it. I can't fault it, it's a kids duvet and my kid loves it!
