Although these goggles were never really comfortable, this purchase was totally worth it, because it convinced me to purchase something better. I was amazed that I could adjust the focus to compensate for my 8 diopter myopia to allow for 3-D visualizations with my glasses off. However, after spending five years on the shelf unused, the outer skin of the foam padding was seriously disintegrated and shedding, creating an eye injury hazard and leaving my face covered with black debris. The glue holding the foam in place was also starting to fail.
