My wife complained that she needed a room light on the read in half light, so bought this Book Light, charges quickly, gives a good light, pressing the button varies the brightness with each press, so shes pleased with it, why only four stars my criticism is that the clip does not hold it that securely to the Kindle, its a bit unbalanced, and the clip rather like a bulldog clip would be ok if the Kindle was only a millimetre or two thick, but its not, so it can just fall off.

Seemed like a good idea so I could read my kindle during the night. It's too heavy to stay clipped onto a kindle when it's bent (as in the advertising picture) to show the writing on the page. It flips off. Disappointed. It may work better on a book? But if definitely doesn't stay clipped onto a kindle when it's angled over the page.........which was the whole point of it for me. Sorry. Glad it wasn't more expensive or I'd have been more upset. It arrived in fair time considering where it came from and I had high hopes for it. I couldn't recommend it for a kindle.

The light is very bright, even at lowest power setting, and has a very good battery life. Once you figure out which way up you're meant to plug it into a USB, it's quick to fully recharge (if the light glows amber upon charging, then you're good. Otherwise flip it over). The clamp though does not have much grip on plastic surfaces like a Kindle, but with a bit of (duct) tape, that is easily fixed.

Does what it's made for. My only issue is that when the rest of the room is completely dark, it's lowest setting still is a little too bright. Other than that a very fine product.

Great if you don't want to annoy anyone while reading or just for an extra light
