Glad I Read This
Usually I'm not a big fan of paranormal types of books or steamy reads, but, since I loved Tamayo's other book, Crazy Love, I gave this book a shot and I'm glad I did.Tamayo's a skilled writer who comes up with unique and interesting characters and plots. This story is no exception. The heart of this book is a love triangle between Cora, Devin, and Andrew. Cora and her husband, Andrew, have been trying to get pregnant for a long time but had several miscarriages. Andrew has been a real jerk about it too. So, when Devin, the demon of lust, gets sent to seduce Cora because of a prophecy surrounding Cora's child, you find yourself rooting for him. The characters shift and grow throughout the story and, without spoiling the book, the ending is fantastic. The book is interesting, well-written, and a fun way to spend an afternoon.

One woman to wipe out all demons
I read this book long before it was published because I've begged the author for an ARC after I'd read a few sample chapters. I gotta tell you this right off--I fell for the demon. Yes, Devin had me right from the beginning, from the moment he made his appearance, and boy, I loved how Cora boiled her husband over the story. Her husband is pretty much an a$$ in the beginng, as he is considering leaving Cora because of her obsession with having children. When the demon Lust in the skin of delicious Devin takes the stage, Andrew (the husband) is taken with jealousy and realizes how much he desires Cora for himself. Well, s*ck it up, honey. You got the demon Lust to battle for the girl this time. Will you live up to it?A woman prophesized to bring the one child into the world, who will end Lucifer's reign; the woman chosen to rid world of evil once and for all. Lucifer sends the demon Lust to keep this woman away from the man who will father the special child. Should be easy, right? Well, think again.I loved this book from line one, and when Devin made his ppearance I could no longer put it down. Looking forward for the next book by this author.

I blame my poor decisions on the demon whispering sweet nothings in my ear...
Good, evil, light, shadow, sacrifice. This story emphasizes the strength of true love, the strength of true belief, and the strength to trust your heart.I love this interpretation of the great war between the angels and results of the fallen. The politics are fascinating. Everyone is required to follow protocol. Even Lucifer needs to request permission before acting on certain desires.Cora and Andrew have fallen into the same trap as thousands of other loving couples. Stress has put a strain on their relationship. Blame has been placed squarely on each other. The pair have no reason to believe the fault may lay on an unseen entity. Separation is inevitable. The separation was just what Xander and Devin needed to proceed with their plan. The relationship needs to end. Cora and Andrew must remain apart.I experienced a lot of anger towards the characters in this book. I was angry with Andrew for nearly the entire first half of the story. Cora would have been fine if she didn’t let Marilyn back her into a corner. So much anger there. I had high hopes for Devin, but that kept getting squashed. Cora had me confused, but I figured out why towards the end. This book had the near-perfect ending. I loved all the self-realizations. I ended the book with a tear in my eye and a smile in my heart.

There's more to these characters and this story than you would imagine
I am not normally big on romantic story lines, but I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful book. Breaking stereotypes is putting it mildly when Lucifer discovers that the mother of a prophesized child has been unable to conceive and deserted by an unsympathetic husband. She is coming apart at the seams.Lucifer pulls out the big gun and sends the demon of lust himself to seduce her and move things along.Demons may have been underrated when it comes to feelings and attachments - but will that help or hurt. And what about that walk-out husband? Has he actually given up? Can he actually give up - and if not, how will he stack up against the demon of lust himself?Read one page and you'll be hooked too.5 stars
