I love this light! I guess I didn’t read the description very carefully at all. I thought it was just a moon lamp that you plug into the wall. It’s so much more! If you have a USB plug, you can plug it into the wall and use it like an electric light. But even better, it’s rechargeable! You can charge this up, and then it doesn’t have to be plugged in at all. You can go anywhere. It puts it off quite a bit of light and the remote is awesome. You have about a bajillion colors to choose from. I like the white… Go figure! I haven’t ran out the charge because I plan on using it plugged in most of the time and using it as a night light. But I could see using this as a night light for a child that just gradually turns off after the child has fallen asleep. It’s finished all the way down to the bottom so there’s no smooth non-moon looking thing at the bottom. That’s an issue believe it or not. You can also turn it off by touch when you don’t have the remote with you. It’s pretty versatile for a tiny little lamp!

I'm really impressed with the 3D printing aspect. I bought the 7.1" two color seamless version. The topography is very detailed and it looks great when lit up. The charging port is also the power/color/dimmer button. Tapping it changes color and powers on/off, holding it adjusts light intensity. It looks fine at medium gradient and all the shading details show up well. It is very light to the point of being easy to bump off the stand so a secure untrafficked location is ideal. It would likely be easy to hang it from the ceiling with clear fishing line or such other method. I left it on for six hours the first time , have to test it with different brightnessess but the package claims a maximum of 20 hours on low setting. I purchased the natural two color version because the sixteen color model just seemed ridiculous, but the price was only a few bucks difference, same goes for the seamed or seamless models. Pretty interesting little bit of uniqueness for the home or as a gift for a an astronomy or astrology buff.

UPDATE:Received a replacement from the manufacturer after my original review. The replacement has been much better than the first shipment I received. The remote functions as described other than the "smooth" or "flash", it's like each of them to the opposite or something entirely different. Not a big deal since I usually keep it on a steady color. I would give A+ to the manufacturer for replacing my defective unit and would advise you do the same if you have issues. Will update this review in the event I have additional issues.Original Review:Stay away from this product unless you like returning products. I bought this from DOTD and regret it. It looked nice while it was on for about 3 minutes. Yes it was plugged in via USB but suddenly all remote control functions and lighting stopped working. Returned.

This lamp is absolutely stunning! I love the realistic feel and texture of the moon lamp and the soft light it emits. Its perfect to decorate your bedroom or living room with because it gives a very cozy feeling. Whether you have a big or small room, this lamp is perfect for those nights you want to stay in bed and browse the internet or read. The level of brightness is adjustable and there are many different modes of lighting available. I personally really like the soft blue and white light, but the possibilities are endless.Definitely recommend you to buy!

I have the 7.5 inch 16 color moon.I plugged it in and it’s really nice for mood lighting in my bedroom. I especially like the fade mode.The only issue I have run into is even when it’s off, if it’s plugged in, it will be faintly green (charged) or faintly red (charging) so it is never completely dark unless you unplug it. It’s not really bright enough to matter much but keep it in mind.

I was looking for a night light for my baby’s nursery and came across this light. The moon light and the wooden stand are both in really nice quality. When it lights up at night it does look very much like the moon. I love the size of the light as well, it’s the right size when placed on my dresser. You could also adjust the brightness of the light by pressing on it. It’s so cool! The brightness is just right as well, not super bright so it doesn’t disturb my baby’s sleep yet bright enough to see her.

I purchased this about a year and a half ago as a nightlight for my two young daughters and they loved it. The remote is a bit complex but offers lots of color options and effects, and more importantly it always worked. Quite frankly the moon looks amazing when lit. The color is so uniform and bright around the entire surface and it also has a battery so it's cool to walk around with it wireless. But 99.9% of the time it sat in it's stand on a dresser and didn't move.My only concern is that it stopped working after a year and a half. Sometimes I can get it to work by unplugging it for a while and re-plugging, but now it just won't illuminate. Too bad because when it worked it was great. My daughters miss it but I'm not sure it's worth purchasing a new one if long-term reliability is questionable.

love this. it was a Christmas gift for my grand -daughter. She loved it. Well made, everything worked. arrived in tact with good packing. I love how you can control the brightness. The charger worked perfectly. no negatives here. very please with the purchase.
