Q: Does this keep out gnats/fruit flies?

Q: Are they pretty heavy? We have beach cookouts and it gets pretty windy.

No they are not heavy at all. Not sure how they stand up to the wind. They were only used indoors.

Q: How large is the interior area? Will it cover a 16” by 40” painting?

I put the tent cover over two framed pictures that are both 17"x22"... guessing coverage is at least 24-27"x36-46" length on sides and with a dome about 17-18" high. Ends are not squared but curved to extend coverage. Hope this helps. Would post a picture but it won't allow me to.

Hi Lexis, As far as the width/depth goes, you should have plenty of room (the base is 47x26 inches). The height will depend on how tall your 2 tier cake is though.
