I loved the unit in terms of the apparent quality.It felt heavy and not cheap. The optics were superb. I loved its size, thestrap, carrying case, lens caps, large lens cleaning rag and emergency rope wrist band. However, Ipurchased it for the compass built in. This company is responsive and sent me a photo ofwhat it looks like through the lens before I bought it. After receiving this unit and trying it out, immediately, anddisappointingly, the compass got stuck. I had to move the unit about to getthe compass to unstick. And then it stuck again. Costin does respond to your emails in a day. No working phone number is given however. I love phone numbers and tried to call them when the compass stuck. I did not want to send it back but did. I gave it 3 stars because the optics are so good and the rubber finish it has. Buy this if you don't need the compass. Update. The company sent me an email apologizing and offered to send me another free. I accepted. When I took the new one out if functioned perfectly. The second time, the compass got stuck a few times and a bubble developed that, occasionally, got in the way of the compass reading. The compass was still usable however. Now today I took it out and used the compass again and the bubble was gone and it did not stick. Go figure??? I gave it another star. Now if I didn't care about the compass this unit and the customer service would get 5 stars easily. It is a great buy for the money!

Starting off, all instructions are in Chinese, no English translation. Got them translated and found the reticle/verneer would not focus, parallax is horrible and not adjustable.
