Be weary.
This is a nicely designed sheath, but it falls short in a few critical areas. The sheath I received was very dark, not at all like the saddle brown in the photos. It was clearly not wet formed as the leather is cracking along the fold, and from the looks more stain was applied to this area to cover it up. The stitching is the biggest deal breaker for me. It is not wax thread and it is extremely loose, probably because it's a poor thread choice and would break if appropriately tight. It also doesn't help that the stitching skips holes in more than one spot. I didn't test the sharpener or the ferrocerium rod, as I intended to return it. If you actually use a sheath daily or regularly outdoors this wouldn't last long. Ether the stitching would frey and break, the slack in the stitching would migrate to one end of the sheath, or the already dried out leather untreated would crack further. Any way you slice it would not be useable for regular or hard use. This would be a home run for the price if it was wet formed, tightly wax threaded, and the sheath was treated with a leather conditioner to avoid drying out in storage and shipping. Needless to say I returned it.

The sheath is nice but it will not fit the handle of my Ka Bar Becker BK 2. Edit- sheath has started to come apart and will not stay snapped at the handle. Customers service is not friendly or helpful.

Could use better QC,...
The leather used for the knife contact is very good, the strap keepers are thinner, lighter weight than I would have liked. The pocket snap will not stay snapped, use a band to secure, now. Somewhat disappointed in the lacking quality control for the price paid....

I love this sheath
I love this sheath, high quality fast delivery, I bought this sheath before looking at the dimensions so I put the carriage before the horse. But it is certainly worth the $40 every penny of it. If something were to happen to this sheath I will certainly buy another one just like it.The knife I carry in the sheath is by brand called steel will. It is a six and a half inch blade and it's called a druid.

Not good fit for the bk2
I ordered this sheath for a bk2 and I have to say i like the sheath but i have a few issues with it.first of all the bk2 will fit in the sheath but there is alot of play as in it is very loose inside the sheath.however when you close and snap the retention strap the bk2 will stay in just fine with no danger of falling out.just remember that without using the retention strap the bk2 will certainly fall out.i bought this product partly because other people claimed it seemed to be made for the bk2, it isn't even close.another issue i have is that in the description it claims this is a right/left handed sheath but the one i recieved is primarily a left handed horizontal carry sheath but can be used as a right handed cross draw sheath.this isn't a huge problem for me because I don't carry my knife for right hand draw anyway because my right side is already claimed by a more important tool but it would be nice if the description for this product was more informative and specific.as far as the quality goes I think its pretty nice for the money.it isnt top of the line and stitching could be better but at this price point i can live with it.the leather is pretty nice for the price and is thick and seems durable.i would recommend this product to someone who isn't going to nitpick about a perfect fit or has a larger knife than the bk2 since there's probably an extra inch of length the bk2 doesn't fill.but if you are looking for a sheath of this type that doesn't cost a fortune and you don't mind a few minor issues that wouldn't be hard to work around then its not a bad buy at all.i would say that based on the stitching issue i may at some point have to get a thread and needle and re do that but once again unless the leather tears or rots a little re stitching isn't all that difficult if it comes to that.as with anything leather tho I would recommend maintaining with a good cleaner and conditioner and it will last many years to come.

Not tough enough
I'm dissatisfied. The company needs better quality control and/or higher quality fixtures. This thing is beautiful, fit my bush knife perfectly, and has solid stiching. The leather on my item is thick and looks great. It arrived on time and is true to the measurements advertised. The problem is that the minute I snapped the hilt snap closed, it broke. This sheath will not secure a knife without that clip. I'm debating replacing the snap myself or sending the whole rig back, because if I can't trust the durability out of the box, there won't be enough trust for me to carry my knife into the bush inside it.UPDATE- BKB Leather in LFK repaired the hilt snap for me and checked the integrity of the others. They said it was a good enough sheath, that the snap peg just wasn't long enough to provide a solid connection. They put in one that was and now it's serviceable. It's not a bad way to carry your bush knife. Still, I'd hesitate until CFK introduces more rigorous product testing unless you don't mind a little DIY or a trip to the leathersmith. I'm satisfied with the leather and stiching, however, and hope to have many years of use from this piece of kit.

Top of the Line Quality and Craftsmanship...with one tiny modification :)
The sheath is a little larger than I had envisioned in my minds eye, which is not a bad thing, as this sheath is very well put together utilizing quality materials and craftsmanship. The attention to detail is noticeable and offers the confidence that this sheath will hold together as long as it is needed...and probably even a little longer that that, I would bet.A slight modification to better suit my needs...To slim-down the profile a bit, I carefully removed the sharpener holder, by slicing through the stitching which created a small credit card sized pocket which makes for a perfect place to carry a few extra dollar's, your I.D. and/or a credit card...see the photo's for a better idea of the modification I am attempting to describe.

Love it.
This sheath was paired with my BK2. Installed two pieces of leather within sheath to eliminate rattle. I knew this going in, easy fix. Basically custom fit the sheath to blade. Pretty well made, leather was dry, required quite a few applications of mink oil. Sheath is now perfect. 100% satisfied.

Excellent Sheath
Very well made, stitch work is excellent, snaps and such secure, leather quality is better than I expected. The ferro rod is much better than I expected. The sharpening stone seems to be a very rough grit basic one; have not tried it yet. The sheath wears well and needs only a minor clean up with leather cleaner to make it look great.

One love!! this and my knife combine it..sorry hun :(
Top shelf!! Boys and girls well done!!Super happy with the quality and functionality, I put a mahogany handle buck knife 0119 special in there. 6 inch blade shape as mmm hmm and tight like a dream on the second button latch. There is enough room for the knife and don't cut the sheath, wouldn't really matter if I did the leather is so thick. honestly it's a sexy fit and I couldn't be happier..looks bad as sh...ahem.Thank you!

Superb quality and practical
Came as advertised, i.e. wonderful quality and, to my surprise, it fit many of my differently sized knives (I had been a tad concerned as to whether this sheath would need modification; it didn't).
