HaoFst CDMA 850MHz Cell Phone Signal 3G Repeater Booster Amplifier Extender + Yagi Antenna Kit

I decided to give this cell signal booster a try given it's price vs the other brands that are VERY expensive. My cell provider is not one of the nationwide players but is regional based with coverage mostly in the United States Southeast/Gulf Coast areas that has a lot of rural areas. I found out that my carrier operates on the CDMA voice signal and uses LTE and 3G for data which is another reason I decided to take a chance on this. With a 2016 LG Fluid II LGAN170 FLIP phone, it worked great. Then in 2019, I made the switch to a Google Pixel 3a XL Smartphone fearing the days of flip phones are numbered. It worked great. With both phones (old flip phone and smartphone) I was able to make calls and send or receive texts in my house that were previously complete dead zones. I am able to connect to the internet with the smartphone sometimes with LTE data band but mostly with 3G data band. I think knowing what your cell provider carrier operates with and tower location/ antenna direction makes a huge difference when buying/using these signal boosters. The carrier reps and help support do not know what their employer uses so you will have to do that research on the web to find out. This works so well I am thinking of having my rural landline disconnected as it costs me a small fortune to have a traditional land based non router landline.

I purchased this item so that I could use it to boost my service where I had none. It did not do anything like it was supposed to and didn’t work at all. It boosted the service enough to get one bar two feet into the door where it would then drop out if you entered any further into the room. Save your money do not buy this product it is JUNK! Worst item I have ever purchased on amazon. The power cord to the repeater was only about three feet long and not long enough for anything as well.

Installed on a home with aluminum siding and a metal roof, cell reception was very poor, after installing reception is excellent.I'm impressed with the ease of install and the enormous difference in cell service. Time will tell if repeater lasts. The outdoor antenna seems to be the same on much higher prices units. If you have good reception outside, this will bring it inside.And NO, I wasn't compensated in any way for this review.

Works good only for voice and texting and boost a little bit of 3g net, just depends on where you mount it

I received my cell phone booster yesterday and decided to install it this morning. The small instruction booklet provided didn’t provide much for directions, other than a few diagrams. However, I was able to install it easily enough. I had to add 20 feet of cable to the cable that comes into the house from the antenna. That was done easily enough thanks to a $3 connector from the hardware store (I already had RG6 cable and crimp-on connectors from a previous project). I would recommend to anyone who buys this booster ( or probably any booster) to have some extra cable, connectors, and a splice because you will probably be needing to add some cable as I did. It only comes with about 30 feet. Overall, installation was easy. I mounted the Yagi antenna on a 5 foot length of 1” schedule 40 pvc. I then used 2 rubber coated P clips to attach the pvc to my chimney and extend the antenna above my chimney and roofline. I pointed the antenna towards my nearest cellphone tower. I chose to mount the omni directional antenna, that mounts inside the house, in the suspended ceiling of a room in my basement ( my man-cave ). I could rarely make or receive calls in this room before installation of this booster. My phone would show “no service” or 1 bar at best. Now, with the booster, I can easily make and receive calls and my phone regularly shows 3-4 bars. I live in southeast Iowa 3 miles from a town of 8000 so it’s not that my home is in a remote location. My problem is that my home sits in a large, heavily timbered, river bottom and is surrounded by mature trees. My yard receives almost no direct sunlight during the summer to give some idea. This is the first time I’ve written an online review but I am so happy with this product I decided I would write one. A lot of the boosters I was looking at cost $150-$400. I didn’t want to spend that much so decided to take my chances with this cheap-o after reading some (mostly) positive reviews. and I couldn’t be happier. I hope this review helps someone.

Ok- for 4 years. 4 I have had little to no phone service at our camping property. So frustrating. Our place is in the middle of no where with limestone bluffs surrounding us. Beautiful but horrible for technology. I have had to switch phone carriers 3 times to no relief. My current one has tried to help so much. They suggested a booster. They wanted almost 300.00. I laughed. Time for my homework.know I have a tower 7 miles away. If I go to the top of the bluffs my phone works a little but typically doesn't work to full capacity till I get on highway 10 miles away.So I start my research. Google. Then Amazon. I'm super careful with my pennies so I of course go for the cheapest to start.This is where I found you. This 1942 looking antenna. I placed in the cart to read reviews carefully.After realizing nothing can be done, I made the move and purchased.Instructions are confusing at first as I have never hooked up an antenna. But after taking a careful look at everything it was easy.I climbed the rocks and zip ties the antenna to a tree as high as I could. Then made the trip back down to camper. My phone at antenna was showing no service.I got to camper where and what happens?? My phone goes from nothing to 4g with 4 bars!!!!I'm beyond amazed.I own a business and need my phone to work while away. Now for the first time it works!!! Im so thrilled I found this booster. Game changer in my life for sure!!!

Several issues, to include, installation manual diagram did not match the unit which creates an immediate problem. The unit did not work at all. Signal light came on, and would stay on even with antenna disconnected. No signal output whatsoever. I believe I just received a non-functioning unit but I was not in the mood to take a chance on a replacement.
