I used this 12" digital caliper to take precise measurements but every time I would measure the device, it would give 4 different measurements. Keep looking, this isn't the precise device you need. I'm returning it.

Constantly eats batteries. I have to replace the battery every time I use it unless I remove the battery before storing it.

This is a good digital caliper. It works well, however its movement is not smooth and very fine adjustments are next to impossible. This is because the detail manufacturing like polishing, smoothing and edge dressing isn't done. This kind of work would more than double the cost of this digital caliper. It is excellent for garage work and 'clamp' measurements. It is accurate and repeatable. I used two different calibration blocks and took 10 readings on each. The largest difference in the readings was 0.0005" from the actual block size.

Product is very poor quality, digital readout does not work consistently. Display did not change the first 30mm, then it jumps to 500mm instantly. Garbage.

They could not be certified because they are a few thousand off, so i can not use them at work. So i will use them at home, i was quite disappointed

Dial calipher is not at all accurate, according to the gauge lab at my job. Worst tool I ever bought.

It’s a piece of junk. Could not even be certified at work to use!!! Sent it back.
