User manual should have more pictures and instructions how to use it. Overall it's a good product for the money. I don't use it often, maybe couple times a month. So I did not want to spend a lot of money on a brand name product. This is a second one that I got as a replacement. Hopefully this one would work better.

Vacuums but doesn't seal. It could be the bag, but these bags are rated very well on Amazon.

This product is awesome. I've been looking for a great seal machine for a long time, because I usually need to bag my dessert as gifts to give away. Therefore, I need a good deal machine. This product makes this thing become easy.On the other hand, I think it's pretty important to have the function of vacuum sealing. The reason is that I always buy foods from Costco, and everything there the size is pretty huge. I couldn't eat them such fast before they get bad. I use this one, and it's really easy to vacuum the bag and then seal it.I have to tell everyone that you do have to read the Instruction manual before using it. First time I tried to seal a bag without reading the Instruction manual, and the bag didn't work. I thought it's a bad one then, but after I read the Instruction manual, I noticed that it was my fault to use it on the right way.I really like it.

I’ve had this vacuum sealer for a little over a month. The first few times I used it, it was great! It vacuum and sealed my steaks perfectly for Sous Vide. Flash forward a month and it’s a different story. Now when I use it, it keeps vacuuming the bag even after all the air is out and doesn’t know when to seal it. And once it decides to seal, it starts to let some of the air out. Really disappointed now.

I bought this unit mainly to vacuum seal bags of flour. It works wonderful for that, sucks the air out and seals at the same time. I did however purchase 2 rolls of plastic sealing bags from another vendor. The bags that come with this will not fit a full four pound bag of flour. It's super easy to use only need one person to hold the bag and operate the unit. I did read several reviews that said it didn't work right out of the box, to that I would say I thought the same thing until I re-read the directions and you must really HEAR A LOUD CLICK from each side of the sealer to know that you have it shut properly. Once I corrected my mistake on that it was smooth sailing sealing a total of 60 pounds of flour so far. I have used it to seal meats and vegetables as well, works perfectly.

The machine broke in less than 30 days, while I'm attempting to seal the moisture of my warm fresh baked cookies the sealer stopped working and the foil strip came off the machine. I ended up buying a foodsaver brand vacuum sealer from Target and I love it. It cost an extra $40 but in this case you get what you pay for.

We did our own deer processing this year. Made 20 logs of summer sausage, 40 lbs of jerky, cut the backstraps into sections etc. I needed a good vacuum sealer to preserve all of our hard work or itd all be in vain if it doesn't put a quality seal on each package.

this is my first vacuum sealer so, since I don't have any other previous experience with other brands and models, I could be a bit biased. First of all, the product arrived in a very well protected package so there was no damage to it.
