I installed this yesterday and it was so easy to put on and works PERFECTLY. No plumber could figure out how to install a tub spout in my bathroom properly, so I took it upon myself to do it after watching some youtube videos, and it was so straightforward and easy to install this tub spout. Even for this single momma who has absolutely no training in household repairs of any kind. Highly recommend this tub spout.

THER HARDEST PART WAS REMOVING THE OLD FAUCET. VERY IMPORATANT TO MEASURE THE LENGTH OF YOUR FAUCET AND THEN CHECK LENGTH ON THE REPLACEMENT.THIS NEW ONE WENT ON EASY AND THE DIVERTER IS WORKING GREAT.

This little thing!!! I don't know how Kholer, Moen, and all the other big names in plumbing haven't figured out how to make a good diverter--this thing is rock solid. Sure, it's a little thin-feeling, and the water doesn't come out in a pretty stream into the tub, it sort of barfs it out--but who cares, because it diverts 99.9% of the water to the shower head! I've had fancy $150+ shower hardware that diverts maybe 75% to the shower head, and then spits the rest of the hot water straight down the drain.Honestly, I don't want to think how much inefficient faucets have cost me. I bought this for one reason, to divert water to the shower head, and it does it better than any faucet I've seen in any house or hotel anywhere. So yeah, 5 stars for this little champ you might not suspect. Also, cheap. Installed fine. Looks decent and modern.

Recently remodeled a bathroom and used black fixtures. Used this to replace existing chrome piece. Looks great.

You are looking at this item because you need to replace your tub spout for whatever reason and save some money because the name brands one are much more expense, and, it's a tub spout...they're all the same. Don't do it. Pay the extra and get the name brand one. The internals are all plastic and doesn't create a good deal. It actually caused a leak because the pressure of the water flowed back and down the copper pipes. Luckily my wife was downstairs when she heard dripping from the ceiling, so I was able to shut the water off in time. The name brand ones have al metal internals. I don't have an issue anymore once I bought a genuine Moen replacement. Yes, I paid a lot more and it sucked, but the damn thing works. Lesson learned: go OEM when it comes to plumping.
