DuralexLys Parisian Bowl 13 cm (5 inch) Set Of 6

I love these bowls! We got rid of the ceramic dishes we had been using for ten years after finding out they tested very high for lead. I researched dishes for months to find safe dishes and finally found Duralex. I was a little nervous about getting glass dishes because we have young children and most of our old set was chipped or broken, but I'm very happy with how durable these are. They're not 100% unbreakable...they're glass. Our old dishes would chip or crack if they got bumped up against the counter or sink. These are way more durable. We've had a bowl, a coffee cup and a plate (all Duralex) drop onto our tile floor already and the bowl ended up breaking but the plate and coffee cup didn't. I think the bowl was flung by my toddler rather than dropped, so I wasn't very surprised that the bowl didn't survive. The clean-up of the broken glass was very easy compared to other glass we've had break on our floor. The pieces were pebble-sized instead of big, sharp shards or very small slivers.These bowls are the perfect size for kids or adults. They stack nicely, they're attractive, lightweight and simple and they're easy to clean. I highly recommend these and all Duralex dishes.

Great bowls, little smaller than i imagined but good for portion control so i still love them.

I use these bowls for dog food. I love them. They're just the right size; they fit the feeding part of my auto water dispenser perfectly. They're very durable. My mom kicked the box out of her way when it first arrived (she didnt notice it said fragile) and everything was still fine: no cracks or anything! They're glass (more sanitary than plastic). They're not made in China. They're safe for humans (many pet bowls say for pet use only).They are also convenient and dishwasher safe. Its so important to wash dog food bowls. The fats in dog food are a breeding ground for bacteria. This set is great. I have 2 small dogs and now I can switch out their food bowl every day. After 3 days I just place the bowls in the dishwasher. I would highly recommend these for pet owners. They come in different sizes also.

Some think these are too small but I think they are prefect for a lot of uses. Ice Cream, Fruit and even a reasonably sized bowl of cereal. They are perfect for ingredients while prepping for a meal, or what the French call Mise En Place. I think I will buy another set.

In the modern age of almost everything goes into the microwave you can't beat Duralex... this stuff is insanely sturdy. It's not glass so much as a different version of pyrex, so even on the off chance it should break --- and NONE of mine have as yet, even though I'm not gentle with them -- they don't shatter so you won't end up with a zillion shards but rather nice big bits of glass that are easy to see and clean up.

In my opinion these bowls got fairly scratched up from being stacked together and used frequently. The size was just a little smaller than I would have liked, but they were overall pretty nice. An elegant and refreshing design.

Really like these bowls. Simple design. Durable. Duralex makes a quality product. Nice size for morning cereal or oatmeal. Carefully packaged and the 6-bow set arrived in excellent condition. And the price is very competitive with other retailers.

These were a great bargain for the price, seem durable so far. They are hard to stack - that is they stack easily enough but they tip when there're more than three of them (you can stack all six, just leans a little). They're supposed to be duralex too. I would've gotten the next size or two larger but they're good enough size for a cereal bowl.For the price I paid I'm very very satisfied - I had plastic bowls for ages, kept putting off replacing them to get other things, so I'm really happy with the set after the cheap plastic bowls I use to have.

Can use to cook eggs in the microwave. Can serve small dinner portions for munching in front of the TV. Fits perfectly stacked 3 high in my divided kitchen shelf. Good quality glass. So happy with this purchase!

Very durable glassware and beautiful design. These will last a long time and no need to treat them as fragile pieces. They go well with all my coloured and flowered dishes. They are great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cereal, yogurt, fruit cup, and desserts; all look appetizing in these bowls.

I have been watching this product for close to a year now and was able to purchase 2 packs of 6 to add to my other bowls. I use these for both "prep ingredients" and for serving salads and deserts. Hence why i needed the specific size.Overall I am very impressed with the thickness of the glass and the pattern of the bowl, as well as the look and capacity. I would have got another set at the time but these and another option keep going in and out of stock so I had to "pull the trigger" quickly.I would absolutely recommend these if you wanna get matching sets of different glass "side dishes" (and go with a unique main "entree plate" but I think I probably paid too much for them for what I got.They come very well packed and with biodegradable materials so that is a bonus too. Glass is notorious to order and ship right.

Would be 5 stars but one bowl has a defect in workmanship. Durable and good size for kids or adults.
