The small leaves are from 10cm - 15cm the large are 16cm - 20cm making them better suited for your intended use. How to use the leaves Simply use 1 leaf for 50 - 100 litres of aquarium water, the leaf may float, allow 2 to 3 days then the leaf will gradually sink to the bottom, a few stones can be added to weigh the leaf down a little. if you don't like the brown dye known as tannins (the brown tint) then soaking the leaf in boiling water and soaking for 24 - 48 hours will help remove this dye, please note that by removing the tannins, (humic acids and tannic acids) you will be removing the main healing benefit properties from the leaf. A single leaf will last around 1- 3 weeks in the aquarium. Keep any unused leaves in an air and watertight container or air tight plastic bag keep away from direct light and store in a cool dry place. This will ensure that any unused leaves will keep for around 6- 9 months.
