Perfect purchase. I had s different heat activated fan by Sterling and it didn’t provide any circulation of warm air and broke after 3 weeks of use. I didn’t want a replacement that they offered because it is not a good fan anyways. This one has been running beautifully. It is totally silent because it is using heat for energy and that is not true of electrical fans. It is unibtrusive and comes “on” with even low heat with small logs. We really notice the difference. We have a 2 story cabin with a loft and bedroom upstairs and it warms both floors. I bought one for a friend that has an airtight wood burning stove in a traditional house in the city. She loves it too. It is much more efficient than a 3 blade fan, I would buy this again and recommend it without reservation.

Very small but works. I might order second one to heat the room

I bought two of these fans to move the heat away from my wood stove. They work very well for that. I put them on top of my stove and aimed them towards the middle of the room. They keep the area above my stove from overheating and move lots of very warm air out into the room. Highly recommended for this.

As advertised. It does what I needed it to do. It circulates the warm air nicely in the vertices space

I would say they are more of a novelty, cause our wood stove already has a fan, but it is fun to see them come on and they do blow very small amount of air around, great conversation piece, and also have to say they are very cheaply built. after about 4 months one only comes on occasionally, and sometimes they don't move at all. no way to contact the builder of the item.
