Q: Can you use normal sized nespresso capsules with this?

Yes you can normal size Nespresso capsules and all supermarket nespresso capsules.

Q: Can anyone comment/review especially regarding quality of espresso produced? Am interested in buying, but unsure as there are no reviews yet

The espresso is nice, but sometimes can taste a bit watery. But that is mostly if I use a light roast and rush the pumping. if you take your time it is nice.

Q: The Nespresso capsules do not get pierced by the capsule puncture holder and I am not sure if I missing something?

It punctures the bottom. The water pressure is usually enough to puncture the top, but for aluminium topped capsules you sometimes have to pierce it yourself.
