I bought this for my husband to use at work. For the past week, it's been a hit! I pack his food in a 3 tier food bag and this fits perfectly since I've taken the shelves out. No leaks either! He's very impressed that it heats his food up in about 30 minutes. His food is not frozen but cold with ice packs. He did say it gets really hot at 40-45 minutes at around 170 degrees. What I do is put plastic wrap over the food tray so the top doesn't get food on it. I can put the stainless steel tray in the dishwasher and I hand wash the top. The bottom I just wipe down. The guys at his job were all impressed with it too and they asked for the link to buy their own. Happy to say, it's working great. Will give a follow up review in about 3 months.

Excellent product.... the best purchase I've ever made. I purposely waited a month after purchasing to leave a review. This lunch box is used 5 days a week if not also additionally on the weekend. I usually plug lunch box in shortly after I arrive to work because i like my food extra hot. I tried the whole hour and two hours before and My food was really warm but not steaming hot. I've re-heated baked beans and hotdogs and hamburgers, and ribs, basically all the grilled food leftovers. And they all taste amazing. Everyone is always saying how amazing my cubicle area smells. I've reheated stuffed shells, lasagna, spaghetti. And the clean up is so easy. Some items did stick to metal tray, but just clean it daily and it'll keep being the highlight of the day. The only down side is that little rubber thing that acts as a seal, seems to have lost it's shape after daily cleaning and possibly being so close to constant heat. If I could replace, it would great so that small amounts of liquid don't seep out after heating( may be the condensation from the food) if I tip unit sideway. It would be perfect. Other than that, I absolutely love my lunch box. I swear by this lunch box. There are many like it, but that are not.

Today we took a 40 min road trip in the truck I'll use when I pull our travel trailer. Many times I pull into a campground super hungry and I'm afraid I'll get low blood sugar. Since I don't have a microwave in the trailer, it can take quite a while to heat up something more than a bowl of cereal. I read a lot of reviews on other electric lunchboxes and most of them had complaints about leakage around the seal. However, this one didn't, so I took a chance on it.Before leaving I filled the large portion with some curried rice, which included pineapple, celery, bok choy and tofu. I added a bit of water and we plugged it into the charger outlet and set it on the floor. I'm sure it took lots less time than our 40 min drive for the food to heat up, however it wasn't overheated or dried out. Everything was tasty and warm enough to eat. What I especially liked was that the veggies were still crisp, unlike when you heat food up in the microwave and the veggies turn soggy. Yuck.When using this device, be careful where you set it, as the bottom does get rather hot. I told my husband about the fold up handles and it was lots easier for him to move it using those. I had thought I could put it in the center console as there's a charger outlet inside, but it was too hot for that.I would give this a 5 star rating, however I find the side clasps very hard to snap in place. I don't have a ton of hand strength, so I don't know if it's me or they don't line up very well. I can get one side on easily but the other one takes quite a bit of effort. I've tried fiddling with the tray, with the idea that it wasn't lined up properly - nope, didn't make a difference. Nor did switching the lid around, with the idea that it fits better one way than the other. With the amount of fiddling and force I have to use to snap the second side shut, I can see it breaking at some point. It's probably still usable even if only one side is shut. But your seal won't be as tight and if you have liquids in there, they could seep out.Just something to point out. Otherwise, I love it. I plan to use it most days while pulling the trailer, as well as when I'm all set up and want to heat something up without digging out the saucepan and starting up the stove top.

This little box is great. I can pack food with me and bring it with me, and then whenever I want to eat, I have hot food, that is healthier and cheaper than buying food out. This is great for me since my stomach is more sensitive to what food I eat.It has the option to be plugged into a car or into a house, making it even easier. I can bring food on a road trip, plug the box in while I’m driving, and then in half an hour or an hour, pull over and eat very hot food. Or I can just plug it in at work, into a regular outlet and then have hot food there.The handles on the top are great for carrying the box around, making it easier to not spill any food. The locking lid will prevent a mess anyway since it is nicely secured with a lid that has a gasket on it. There is a compartment just for utensils, which they also provided a fork and spoon. It is large enough to fit anything you should need to bring with you, keeping them clean, out of the way, and in a location that you can’t forget to bring them with you. The food tray and the utensils are stainless steel, which is great for keeping them clean and also for being healthier.The food is heated up well very. I add a little bit of water to help stem some foods, but everything gets very warm. I can open the box and everything is steaming. That is very impressive for such a small box, that is so easy to use.

Great to have hot fresh food with this lunchbox anywhere. I have it a few months ago still working perfectly. It would warm up my food in 30 mins but i plug it in for an hour always make it sure and my food is HOT! Its not leaking to outside rubber sealing it well just inside if i have soup i have to carry ot with care.

I’m super impressed with this lunch box. I got it for me husband who drives a bus all day and has no way to heat up his lunch. He plugs it in about 40 minutes before eating and he says his lunch gets hot. I would definitely recommend!!
