Product Description Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad. Melinda sees dead people. She chats them up and even helps them solve their unresolved issues on earth. Too bad she sees the trouble that this can lead her into. 22 episodes on 6 DVDs/widescreen. .com The second season of Ghost Whisperer--that cornucopia of spookiness, warmhearted crescendos, and cleavage-emphasizing outfits--strengthened the show's basic formula with tighter writing and engaging new characters. After an opening episode that resolves the first season's cliffhangers (with a black-hatted baddie and a beloved "earthbound spirit" in peril), our heroine Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) launches forward with three new friends: Dr. Rick Payne (Jay Mohr, Jerry Maguire), a prickly, sarcastic professor of the occult; Delia Banks (Camryn Manheim, The Practice), a skeptical but warmhearted realtor who helps Melinda run her antique shop; and Delia's son Ned (Tyler Patrick Jones), a rebellious but goodhearted scamp. More significantly, the ratio of creepy thrills and beatific resolutions has been recalibrated to crank up the thrills. Which is good news--while helping ghosts find the light may be Melinda's reason for being, those happy endings are more satisfying when preceded by scary special effects and what-will-happen-next chills. On top of that, the show's creators carefully weave in a season-long story arc that culminates a three-episode conclusion (which, naturally, leaves plenty of questions open for the third season to investigate) involving a rival ghost whisperer whose motivations are not so selfless as Melinda's. Clearly, the show's fans were hungry for more of Melinda's stoic, hunky husband Jim (David Conrad); not only does he get many more opportunities to be unflinchingly supportive, he gets haunted by a supermodel and has a best friend who starts dating Delia. Stories range from a vengeful cheerleader to a phantom dog to an old boyfriend of Melinda's, who even in death hasn't gotten over her winsomeness. Most often people are haunted by family members and lost loved ones, who--though they knock things over, possess the living, and generally raise a ruckus--are almost always seeking forgiveness or to pass on sage advice. Through it all, Melinda summons her pluck and marches into danger wearing what seems to be an endless supply of flowy coats and low-cut party dresses. Ghost Whisperer is a love-it-or-hate-it show, and those who love it do so passionately. The show's creators reciprocate with an abundance of extras, ranging from earnest episode commentaries and behind-the-scenes docs to a series of "webisodes" of an internet serial about a bicycle delivery guy learning to cope with death to a peculiar "Jennifer Love Hewitt Speed Painting Video." --Bret Fetzer

Great show!
Season 2 is way more crazier than season 1. Season 1 was kinda more basic in terms of concepts with just being about regular ghosts with unfinished business. This season takes on different concepts & more between egyptian goddesses, zombies, ghost beetles & so much more. This season I feel is less sad compared to the first season though. The first season had me balling almost every episode but this season has less of those episodes that got me in my feelings which is good because I disliked crying almost every episode.

continues where it left off.
after the death of her best friend, Andrea. She has to help her cross over as well which turns into a task in of itself as there are dark forces growing stronger with each day. Trying to stop Melinda from crossing over the ghosts that come to her, some will even refuse her help and choose to stay in the world of the living. I was saddened by the death of Andrea, but it was handled well and we also get to see her brother play a role in things. Finally finding peace over his sister's death and Andrea crossing over. Things start to ramp up towards of the middle of the season. With more than a few difficult ghosts and more powerful forces that are growing ever present and trying to block Melinda from ultimate goal. Let's just say that with a couple episodes left at the end of season 2, you'll be more than pleasantly surprised at the new developments and characters that come to Grandview to reak havoc on things.Enjoyed Season 2 very much and am looking forward to more of this excellent TV show that can and continues to do it all.

The dead
I’m not really sure if I believe in the supernatural but it is really good to see how she helps so many finish their business to go onto the other side.

Must C - TV , I know it`s a line , but TRULY a Must C
Ghost Whisperer is one of those shows you want to go on forever.J-Lo , is perfect as the small town shop owner how help guide "earth bound spirits into the light".Some may classify this show as Sci-Fi , but I classify it great tv , now of course I will be asked to review each episode , but I won`t.All my episodic reviews would end up being the same , one of the more perfect shows that sadly had to come to an end. Some episodes are better , but none are not worth seeing. For 45 min`s you can journey with Mel & Jim or Sam on adventures that truly shed light on the other side. Will you see her ?Watch + enjoy = time not wasted !Gary

Ghosts, drama and fun!
I didn't watch this series when it was on tv originally, but always enjoyed the random episodes that I would catch. I decided to binge from first episode to last and this was the second season of episodes. The storyline takes a twist in that there are dark, evil forces working against the ghosts to keep them from the light and our Ghost Whisperer must help the ghosts get to the light to keep the balance between good and evil. I love the personalities of the characters, the dynamics between the friends and family, the interactions between the people and the ghosts, but I am still trying to decide what I think of the whole evil vs good aspect. Guess we will have to see where this goes in season 3.
