Yes
Does what it's supposed to do. Was worried that it would not fit the headphones plug but perfect I couldn't be happier.

you get what you pay for in this case.
this fits my headphone jack on my Mac Book Pro M4 better with less connection issues than the cheaper brand.

Pretty standard stuff
No issues. It works. Makes noise as required through the connection. I haven’t measured the signal to determine the signal to noise ratio, but it sounds good with my gear.

Much better than the default adapter that came with my HD518s
Bought this in an emergency after the tip of the 3.5mm adapter for my HD518s broke off. I must blame that on my own clumsiness, though that default adapter is HUGE and quite difficult to get out of the back of my PC. I ended up bending it twice and have to force it back into position with pliers. Definitely won't have the same problem now; this comes out and around the corner like butter.Ordered from Audio Equip and it arrived right on time, with sparse packaging in a cardboard envelope. I was a little worried because the envelope looked like it just walked out of a bar fight, but the adapter was fine. No markings on the product, but the little baggy had a Sennheiser sticker on it. Surely legitimate!Adapter, end to end, measured about 9 and 1/8th inches. May or may not vary slightly. 6.3mm end snapped in very satisfyingly, like munching on a delicious, flavored pretzel bite. With the skinny 3.5mm end I can finally put plug my headphones into my speaker setup for convenience and a little more freedom of movement. Sound is just as fine to me as the default adapter.I must say that the cord felt lighter and much more flexible than my headphones' cord. Same thickness though. May not be as durable, but it's pretty short so I don't expect it to get much wear and tear.I will update as soon as anything goes wrong with it. I could have gone with something cheaper, probably would have been just as sufficient, but I felt safer going with a brand I know makes high quality products. Though the Grado adapter was a little cheaper (possibly better quality??), it did look chunkier, something I was trying to avoid due to how my ports are shaped.

Good headphone connector
I recently bought a new Korg Liano, it’s a great lower priced, full 88 keyboard with semi weighted keys. It has USB MIDI IN/OUT, which is great. Also, the back panel includes a Line Out, which in higher end keyboards would consist of a 1/4 inch (6.35mm) TS (mono) or TRS balanced (stereo) male jack, to play through an amp or powered speaker. The Liano has built in speakers but can be played Line out as well, however it’s through the Headphone jack (3.5mm). A headphone jack is smaller and not as robust as the larger, obviously. This chord is a a great benefit to save wear and tear on the installed port. As another review stated, the weight of the inserted 1/4” will be less on contact. Also, it appears well made by a reputable brand.

Great sound quality preserved with a properly built connector.
You buy one of these if you need to transfer great sound to your mid-range to even higher end headphones which many times come with 1/4" jacks that need reduction. This one is reasonably priced and does the job with no real noticeable difference in sonic degradation.
