Excellent value for the money
Considering it would cost me about $800 to have a machine shop custom make this for me. It was a steal for 40 bucks.

Restricts the focus ring on lens. Be care you don't tighten too much.
I used this to attach a Sony 70-300mm lens to a Sony a7rii. Worked okay but if you tighten the the bracket too much it restricts the focus ring on the lens. I am concerned that I will damage the lens. Be very careful using this product.
