A good price for a very useful piece of kit
I give frequent presentations to quite large audiences. I needed a projector stand which wasn't too high, but which also had a tilting mechanism to help reduce the distortion of the splaying edges of an image projected onto a large screen from a projector raised on its own front feet. Yes, I know that almost all modern projectors have Keystone Correction, but this is usually limited to 30 degrees maximum, and when an image is projected upwards from a low angle, then even that correction might not be enough. Why do I want a lowish height and a tilting tray? Well, when the projector is on a higher stand (or something improvised like an upturned box on a table top) and there's a large audience stretching 8-10 rows behind it, then some of those sitting close to the centre line of the projected image have their view obstructed by the projector and stand, so the answer is usually to raise the screen height. This particular stand meets all my needs, even at its lowest setting. The projector has a solid platform and the tilting mechanism works well, giving a proper rectangle to the projected image. There is a reasonable amount of height adjustment, and it has a decent amount of stability. The lip round the edge of the tray has a thin foam cushion on the inside vertical edge, and serves as a handy stop for the projector feet when the tray is tilted upwards. It won't offer full protection in the event of a serious collision (e.g. if someone blunders into the stand), but it does a decent job. If you want further security, you could look at things like long velcro strips wrapped round the tray and projector, but keep them away from projector heat sources! You could take the tray off when you store the stand, but I find it such a faff every time that I just tilt the tray to be flat to the centre column and store it like that. The tripod feet do of course close up.It could certainly act as a stand for a 15.6" laptop, though there would be no room to use a standard mouse or even a trackball model. If you have a larger laptop, that might pose a problem - check its dimensions against those quoted for the tray. If things like tray size and ultimate stability are your key concerns, then you might need to look elsewhere - and expect to pay a lot more. For what I needed, I can recommend this model with a clear conscience. It's good value and quite well made. I certainly wouldn't be without it.

Great 👍
Very happy with this product, arrived quickly and simple to set up it's fits my projector perfectly. Just what I was looking for. Reaches to a great height and its simple to adjust. Stability of the product is great just make sure you tighten it well. When not in use it folds down easily to transport to other rooms.I'm more than happy good product at great price

Good quality item
This item offers good functionality as a laptop stand and I also use it for my teleprompter.Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to sit straight rather than it being sloped. If I could then it would also work well as a projector stand. This potentially is something that I'm doing wrong as this is the big flaw in the item. The instructions are very poor and there's one piece to put this together that is pretty difficult. You may notice the video review of someone on this item saying it was faulty or she was missing a piece. She wasn't, it's just not clear or easy to put together.Once it is together, it's easy to adjust the height and it's got quite a bit of weight to it which will make it secure. It does fold down easily but it's not the smallest item to store away.Overall it's done what I needed and so it's decent value for money

Simple to put together
I have been looking for a small stand for my Digital Projector. I had a larger cine projector stand, but is was bulky when in use. This stand has a minimal floor footprint, plus an adjustable height. I have added a non-slip mat, which helps keep the Blue Ray player from catching the rim around the edge.

Excellent, I use it as a laptop stand
I use this stand to hold my 15" laptop whilst working out in my gym. It's strong yet lightweight enough to easily move between pieces of equipment making it possible to use it to watch TV, view training programs for motivation or just as a music source. Excellent height for this and seems very sturdy; been using using it for a couple of months now with with no issues at all.Was very easy to assemble but beware, the lowest setting is quite high however the measurements are clearly shown in the listing information above so do check; if you need a stand to go low, this one won't.I haven't needed to use the tilt so can't comment on the stability once tilted but on the flat it's firm and steady. There is a foam backing around the lip that isn't great for staying stuck on but it doesn't affect my usage. This stand is an excellent, cheap way of safely holding my laptop in a position where I can clearly see it, perfect for indoor cycling training in the winter.

Nice stand for occasional use
I've only use this stand once since it arrived but it serves its purpose well. The top plate can be fitted either way round, one way it will tilt 90 degrees for easier storage, the other it will go to about 70 degrees. Of course it can be removed easily too -just one through bolt and it comes off. The top plate has a slot in one corner for cables and another along one edge, the rest of the "parapet" around it is padded with rubber to protect the equipment.. It's light and compact enough to store without disassembly and the rubber feet seem quite substantial, both for grip and protection of floor surfaces. While I use it for a projector, it could be used as a portable lectern too as there is plenty of room on top for a laptop. If I was using this device every day I'd probably pay a bit more for a heavier duty model but for the occasional use this gets (as many places I go have projector facilities already) this is ideal.
