Decent sturdy bit of kit
I bought this because some genuis council worker built an insutlating wall ON TOP of the last residents carpet rather than taking the 5 extra minutes to trim the carpet back. The carpet was not only tacked down under said wall and skirting but folded over, so i had to get under a skirting and cut through two layers of thick woven back carpet. There was 4.2 meters of this trapped under there. Firstly, as per the pics, this blade locks into 3 different angles, which is why i bought it and it was massively useful for the job intended. Being able to lock at these angles allowed me to get right under the skirting. The build is really good. Better than stanley's recent budget efforts without a doubt. It feels solid even though the body is a plastic build, and the blade itself locks into place sturdily. The button to release the blade gave me no issues. I did need to use two out of the 4 blades this comes with, but in all honestly chibbing away at a double layered woven back carpet that was tacked in underneath an insulating wall... i thought I'd probably need to use more. The last pic shows how much of that carpet i managed to get out from under there with this and thats all down to the lockable angles. For the price.... well worth it.

If you order stuff in cartons you need this
A stylish box cutter, that is easy to open, easy to use, and includes spare blades! It's also razer sharp and seems very well built.

Plastic
Disappointed to find it was plastic. But it does work ok. Not sure how long it will last.

Great Find
I typically buy 2 knifes a year from a well known hardware store in UK...Their cheapest knife falls to bits and isn't that much cheaper than the toughmaster. I have used the Toughmaster fro strippoing back sealant in my kitchen, bathrooms and utility room. Easy & safe to use , like the open/clsoing safety device and changing a blade is so easy. There's also a handy storage slot in the handle for the spare blades that come with this knife.Overall superb value for monay and 100% recommend

Exactly what I need
This is very safe to use or hubby wouldn’t let me use it! The blade folds back into the housing and locks. The blade is very sharp so take care. It’s well built and looks great.

Spicey fidget spinner, but not for lefties
I have had a few of these folding knives and this is one of the comfiest to hold. It's sturdy, and has an easy single button mechanism to open and close.I do have a habit of fiddling with these, opening and closing, and this one is no different. However, this has an extra lock point of 45 degrees which disturbs my play time. I have yet to find an effective use for this lock point, but I am sure someone will. Also as a lefty, the button is not best positioned for single handed use, but as all us sinister lot do, I just struggle on in a world not made for me.
