Perfect
I recently purchased this glass bottle, and it has quickly become an essential part of my daily routine. The size is absolutely perfect, making it convenient to carry around whether I'm heading to the office, the gym, or just running errands. One of the standout features is the excellent grip, which ensures it stays securely in hand, reducing the risk of accidental drops.Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to its simple design and wide mouth, allowing easy access for thorough washing. The bottle also provides great value for the money; it's durable, stylish, and designed with quality materials that justify every penny spent.Overall, this glass bottle checks all the boxes—perfect size, great grip, easy to clean, and fantastic value. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, everyday hydration companion.

The only glass bottle that wont break!
If the microplatics themselves didnt kill me, hearing the statistics of the average human consuming the equivalent of a CREDIT CARD A WEEK of it, certainly will. This was enough to change things up for good. I dont even want to admit how many bottles of water I go through a day, much less my entire family. Glass is healthiest and tastes cleanest to me. The only problem is, that, well- its GLASS. Spend a good bit of money trying the ones with the bamboo tops and silicone cases, but every one of them broke at the bottom for no good reason within the first two uses. This water bottle is the only one that has lasted me like a champ. It has a slide lock at the side, top to bottom sleeve with water window, and wrist carrying loop at the top. Two of these come with me to the gym every day and are amazing. Bought four more for each my kids and all are holding up a month in. If this changes I will update but Im pretty happy.

Luxurious feel, minimal micro-plastics.
So beautiful and useful! Love that it's glass for those concerned about micro-plastics, bacteria, and water taste. Love that it's wrapped in silicone to protect it, and it has a strap for ease of carrying. The lid is plastic and silicone of course, but what can you do.I have yet to drop it, so I'm unsure about actual durability. This water bottle is well priced and feels and looks luxurious.

Holds a lot but awkward to use
This is a really good water bottle overall, but the design of the top makes it a little awkward to use.The bottle itself is glass with a rubbery cover, which I really like for both grip and protection. It has a flip-top lid, but the lid doesn't fold all the way back, so when you try to drink directly from it, the top hits your forehead. I ended up using a long straw to make it more manageable. One nice feature is the locking mechanism on the top, which gives me peace of mind when I toss the bottle on the passenger seat (since it’s slightly too wide to fit in my car’s cup holders).Overall, while I like certain features of this bottle, I wouldn’t buy it again because of the awkward lid design and width.

Nice looking and heavy weight
I like this bottle BECAUSE I bought it for two specific reasons: I'm dumping as much plastic usage as possible, and I needed weight for my new rucking sport. It meets both of those criteria. It's attractive, no plastic, and it IS heavy. Great for an office or home use, or if you're into heavy weight rucking like I am, great to throw in the ruck. Unlikely to break. The cap is bamboo, and there's an infuser cup if you're into that too.

Glass vs Steel: A Clear Improvement
The media could not be loaded. Let me be transparent - I switched to this 20oz Ello glass bottle after my stainless steel bottles started making my pre and post-workout supplements taste like I was licking a gym locker. After a few months of daily use, I can confidently say this bottle is a game-changer, though it does come with a few quirks worth mentioning.PROS: Crystal Clear Visibility: Unlike my stainless steel bottles where I had to guess how much was left, I can actually see my drink level through the glass - a simple but surprisingly useful featureSimple Design: One piece of silicone gasket for sealing. After finding mold in my old Contigo's straw system, this simple design is a welcome changeThat Button Though: The lid release makes the most satisfying "pop" sound - it's like bubble wrap for adults. I've become somewhat of a local celebrity at my gym for this feature aloneOpen-Mouth Design: Drinking feels more natural, and I'm consuming more water. Who knew not sucking through a straw like a hamster would improve hydration?CONS: The Silicone Wrap: While it's soft and protective (like a comfortable hazmat suit for your bottle), it can trap odors around the lip area. It's cleanable, but worth noting for my fellow supplement enthusiastsWeight: It's heavier than ultra-light stainless steel options. Consider it resistance training for your hydration routineCLEANING EXPERIENCE: The glass might not actually be less porous than stainless steel (science is still debating this one), but what matters is the incredible ease of cleaning. No complex parts, no hidden chambers where drinks go to die - just straightforward design that doesn't require a degree in engineering to disassemble.SPECIAL FEATURES:There's a locking function that I've never used - it's like having a parachute on a submarine. Nice to know it's there, probably won't need it.THE VERDICT:This glass bottle is an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade from steel bottles. While it's a bit heavier, the benefits of clear visibility and simple cleaning make it worth the trade-off.Would I recommend it? Absolutely.TIP: Want to know if you need a refill? Just look at it. Simple but effective!UPDATE: Still going strong after several months of daily use with pre and post-workout supplements. No weird tastes, no hidden mold colonies, just clean, clear hydration with a side of satisfying pop sounds.UPDATE 2: The Silicon Seal SituationAfter 7 months of faithful service (with admittedly irregular cleaning intervals), the silicone seal has developed mysterious discoloration that refuses to surrender to dishwasher cycles, manual scrubbing offensives, or even my surgical extraction attempts with a paring knife. Beyond aesthetics, this raises legitimate questions about what might be growing in those microscopic pores and whether it's safe for continued use.Replacement options exist on Ello's website, but the economics are questionable - a new lid costs roughly 2/3 the price of an entirely new bottle after shipping, with a delivery timeline measured in geological epochs (10+ days). The truly puzzling part? They offer replacement seal kits for other models but not this one, when all I really need is a fresh gasket instead of an entire lid assembly. The glass portion remains functionally perfect - it's just the potentially concerning condition of the silicone seal that's giving me pause. Consider this your "food safety heads-up" if you're planning on a long-term hydration relationship. For supplement users especially, those protein residues seem determined to become permanent residents in the silicone's molecular structure.

Love the wide mouth opening
This bottle is easy to fill and I love that I don’t have to locate and clean straws. The lid locks so I don’t have to worry about leakage. The size is small enough to fit in my cup holder. I like drinking from glass so I don’t have any metallic taste or have to worry about microplastics.
