I've had a few different facial toning devices before including safetox and slendertonr face, but this has been by far the best. This really does make a noticeable difference if used consistently and in the right way for your own face. Cheeks are definitely plumper and higher and naso labia lines reduced as a result. Cheaper than a face lift. It definitely combats signs of tiredness and the tendency of everything to head south as we age. It helps keep the complexion radiant and the face look more 'alive' and lifted, but without it looking in any way unnatural. I have found it takes a bit of trial and error to find the exercises and optimal positions for you because we all have different facial dynamics. I have found some positions suggested in the manual not to be suited to me (eg the naso labisa position just made my lines worse). The eye and cheek exercises worked best for me and the lifting effect on the cheeks was the thing that has helped reduce the naso labia lines. However, as well as the recommended exercises, I also even found an alternative positions in which to use the device which work well for me. A great alternative to surgery or botox if you want to maintain a youthful, yet natural appearance. Well worth the money.

Stopped working after only 6 weeks and only being used a couple of times and having a difficult time trying to get a refund from seller. It should have been replaced or refunded straight away but still waiting on a decision from seller but no decision should have to be made as not fit for purpose

After realising it's galvanic I was going to return it but I gave it a fair try and I was surprised how well it worked only fault I have is battery I don't normally buy anything without a plug but it has been out on market for fair few years so yes works well so I can add it to my other devices I do like to change them so they get used and my skin always looks good after using it so I will be keeping this device

I've used electric face toner for years. My old one, still going but has issues sometimes, but I've had it a good few years. So, bought this toner. Arrived on time, package not damaged, in good condition. The reason I've given it four stars is because of the handle. The battery compartment is in the handle. Took off the cover to out in battery, had trouble getting it to click shut properly. It's extremely flimsy, considering how substantial the actual business end of the device is, so be very gentle when putting your battery in the cover feels like the consistency of an eggshell, though once on, if it clicks in, should be ok . Other than that, it seems to be ok and functional. POST SCRIPT...Wanted to add that a week or so on, how good the collagen gel patches are , both when used with the device, and indeed just to plonk on under tired eyes ..really do see a slight difference...it does what it says on the pack, as with all these things, it cumulative use that will give long lasting results.

I keep searching for the gadget that will remove some lines and lift my cheeks and jowls to where they used to be. I've read all the reviews for Nuface, Foreo, Ziip and more. I've watched YouTube videos, I've listened to the dermatologists at Doctorly explain how, if there was any good evidence, the companies would show it. But still, somehow, I keep looking. The thing that should really convince me, and anyone else, is that before and after pictures really don't show any difference – a change in light or angle, a slight smile rather than a slight grimace, but no 'wow' moment. I mean, if these worked, the company websites would be piled high with amazing photographs. They're not.This device is at least more affordable. As others have said, the handle is flimsy and the controls are too easy to accidentally push when using. The current is agony on fillings, even at a low intensity. You also have to be committed to using it properly and regularly (and which of us non-clinical users really know where the right muscles are?). And you have to put up with all of that knowing that there's scant evidence it'll do anything that makes a difference to your life or your confidence.In my research, I've learned that retinoids are useful, decent near infrared has a bit of science behind it, that staying out of the sun is essential and that there are better things to do with our time than chasing flawless skin. If I'd spent all the time I've wasted looking at these devices in learning a new skill or meeting friends, I'd have a naturally smile-enhanced face!

The first one of these delivered I couldn't get to work so had to return the item which was straight forward to do although a nuisance. What was disappointing was that within 24 hours the replacement order I made cost me an extra £3. I used the Rio last night and could see immediate changes. However I am used to using these types of things as I previously had a Cleo Q system. I prefer this item as I didn't have to mess about with cables and sticky pads. Would recommend. Please note : to turn the item on you press the on button BUT told it down for 3 seconds.

Used it for improvementWas very unlucky. Unit had problems,I'd read in reviews that e other customers experienced similar issues, however majority of reviews were very good, so bought one anyway.Having to return mine.Am still ordering a replacement though. Feel that there's bound to be a few faulty, which doesn't mean that the majority are not completely fine.Exellent customer service, apologised straight away and offered hasty refund.Hope my "perfectly working" model, arrives soon. 👍😊
